Kent and I took a very long Sunday drive this afternoon and drove all the way around Bear Lake. We used to do this about once a year but it had been a long time since we had done it. I think we're getting too old to sit in the car that long though, we were tuckered out afterwards.

We stopped along the way for a picnic. I had to leave my sunglasses on for the picture because I got halfway to Logan before I realized I forgot to put makeup on.

The view from the scenic overlook. I was feeling so lazy today that I didn't even take the time to get out of the car. It's a drive by photo shooting.

This is the land that Kent's family used to own at Bear Lake. Kent and his friends used to go there and build these huge fires. I went with them a few times and Smokey the Bear would not have been very happy with them. They used to fill super soakers with white gas and make it into a sort of flame thrower. Kent is now being blamed for the fact that they are all still pyros. It has honestly been years since I've seen Kent build a fire. I'm thinking they might just come to it naturally. Oh and by the way, super soakers don't last too long after being filled with white gas. Just for your future reference.

That's some helpful info...I'm going to go get me a super-soaker!
oh this really makes me miss BearLake. I made that drive all the time growing up. I had to laugh that you say you are getting too old for that far of drive. I wonder how you would handle coming to visit me???? hmmm...
Man, I haven't done that drive in about 16 years!
