The Dangers Of Dragging Out Christmas
Again with the giant head! I think I will go and cry my giant tears on my giant pillow.
Christmas Has Been Canceled
I got Wii Fit but luckily there aren't any pictures of that. It asked me if I found myself tripping a lot (sad thing is, I do). And after playing with it just the one day I was actually stiff! We had a very good Christmas and we get to do it all over today because Christmas was rescheduled for Sunday.
On Christmas Eve we had the annual Willie Christmas party. There were lots and lots of little boys running around. Here's a picture of me with Noah or as he put it "Noah and Kentandaimee"
I just realized this is the only picture of Kent and I together this Christmas. Man, I have a huge head.
And finally.....that huge storm that hit my parent's house on Christmas morning came to our house Christmas night (ok, I'm no meterologist, but I think it was actually a different storm). So the next morning Kent finally got to use the new snowblower. It was a pretty big storm so there was lots of snow to blow and the neighbor would have been working all day to get us all dug out.

New Holiday Tradition
I went back to my blog entry last year where I decided to turn Insta-Care into holiday date night and read then next entry where Kent got the flu, so I am really hoping that doesn't turn into a tradition too.

From Boring to Busy
We went to lunch and then went to Ikea. From there we went to Tai Pan. It was a very busy day. Today we mostly got to take it easy but we got a little cleaning done. I am hoping this next week slows down a little but it looks like I'm busy until sometime in January. Wish me luck.Wednesday, November 26, 2008

Still Vacationing
Sunday, the day of rest, and we sort of did. We decided to just stay in Ogunquit mainly today and just relax. We sort of slept in and just got ready as we felt like it. We took a walk down town and then walked down to the beach. We had picked up a pamphlet about an outlet mall about 14 miles from here and we decided to go check it out. It was huge! It had three stop lights running through it. I spent waaaaaay too much money but I got some good stuff. They had a Lindt Chocolate outlet! I was in heaven. I love Lindt Lindor truffles they are my absolute favorite and they had big bins of seconds that were $6.50 for a pound. I found out that a pound of Lindor's is a lot of chocolate. They also had red chili flavored chocolate that I bought for Kent. Kent and Ron gave up on the outlets pretty quickly and went off to find some boat store. It was really nice to not have to run around for one day.

More Vacation
Greetings from Cape Cod!
Day 4

We're On Vacation
We woke up well before the sun. Our flight left Salt Lake at 7:25 which meant we had to leave the Valley at 4:30! I got everything ready the night before and figured we could wake up at 4:00 and be on our way. I should have discussed this with Kent. His alarm went off at 3:25.
We hit the road and as we were driving south we started talking about the new Legacy Parkway. As we got closer Ron kept telling Kent to get off on the new road. We dang near missed the exit but Kent got off just in time. Mary Jean turned to Ron and said "Is this a better road?" to which he responded, "No, it's a crappy road!" and he was totally serious. So there we were driving on this windy path to the airport.
Both of our flights took off and landed on time which was nice. We arrived very tired. Luckily our baggage arrived too. We rented a car and drove north to Lexington. Our hotel was very nice. We had a very tastey dinner. We're off to a good start.
Day 2
We were suppposed to meet in the lobby for breakfast at 7:30. Kent and I woke up at 7:15. We hurried and got ready and got downstairs to find Ron and Mary Jean had also woken up late. I guess that's a sign that the beds were really nice. They were, I don't think I have ever slept better in a hotel. We headed to the T station to catch the train into Boston. Amy, you would be very impressed with my subway skills! Even 7 years later I was still a pro.

My Proudest Moment
So last weekend I was out at Ron and Mary Jean's house and she was showing me some new pictures that she had bought at Michael's. Then she said "guess how much I paid? $10! And when I got them I thought, Aimee would be so proud!"
And I was!

Dark Fizzy Lover
Amazingly, I have lived. The first day I had a killer headache but the next day I was fine and I've been fine ever since. I chose yesterday to have my one soda for the week. I cracked the cold can open, held it up to my lips, and drew a long, tastey, swallow. I looked at that can and said "hello my dark fizzy lover". It was awesome. But here's the truly amazing part... I got half way through with the can and I was done! I was satisfied and I figure I can drink another half sometime later in the week. Soon I think Coca Cola will be calling to find out what has happened to one of their best customers.

MOOOOOve Over!
On the plus side we did get 30 applications (yes, less than last year, I blame the beef), lunch paid for by some poor student who dropped money in the grass, Obama 08 signs, and a spiffy farmers tan.
P.S. to earlier posts: There is such a thing as bad cake, it's called fruit cake. I finished The Host without cheating and it was really hard!

My Neck Belongs to Edward
These two little zits on my neck to which Kent said "you look like a vampire bit you". Maybe he did. Maybe Edward snuck into my room Friday night for a small snack. Maybe I am in for some days of agony followed by eternal life. Guess I won't be seeing any of you until the next rainy day.

Bunny's Can't Take Time to Blog
Poor Kent hasn't been able to play his shoot em game in days. I'm completely addicted, my arms actually ache from playing the stupid thing, and I have the mouth of a sailor from swearing at the dang television.A few bunny facts for you:

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out Kid!
Note number 3.
He then proceeds to hook the ends of two of them together and then hook them under his foot and pull. I was vacuuming and still heard the smack. Somehow they had slid out from under his foot and smacked him square in the eye. Luckily he was wearing glasses, not lucky for the glasses. The lense had fallen out and was on the floor. Glad we paid the extra money for the lenses that can take a good hit.Kent said he was about to come and tell me to keep the cord away from face and body. I learned from example.

After These Messages.... We'll Be Right Back
I have all of these things gathering up around my house so I have decided to put my blog to good use and try to unload some stuff. I know this isn't some online auction house but it is my blog and I can post whatever I want.

I swear, I measured the wall. I then took those measurements with me to Ikea and read their measurements on the box. Sure, this shelf will fit my back door entryway. I bring it home and wait probably a month to get it out of the box to put it together. I think to myself, self this shelf seems really long, you better take the longest board and see if it will fit. Nope, it's about 3 inches too long. So since I had waited so long to open it and I don't happen to live around the corner from Ikea, I didn't ever get around to taking it back. I can't even remember how much I paid for it but if you are interested we can work something out.
Next item up for grabs: A slightly used desk
Ok so it's not this desk and slightly used is sort of an understatement. My brother got me this desk for free because it was damaged and his store couldn't sell it. Then it has sort of gotten a little dinged every time I have moved. I've had it for awhile so I couldn't find a picture on the internet and I didn't want to go take one. It does look a little like this, it has a hutch across the top and has two drawers on one side and a cabinet on the other for the computer. If you want this desk it's yours. We may even be able to negotiate delivery.
I think that's it today for self promotion. Thanks for watching we now return you to regular blog reading.
