Successfull Kentikah
I think Kent would agree that this year's Kentikah was a success. On Friday he was gifted
with a new waffle maker and he promptly made us waffles for dinner. Saturday he received a label maker.
I was a little reluctant to buy him a label maker even though he has been wanting one for quite awhile. You see, he has threatened to label all of the cabinets in the kitchen because he has a hard time finding stuff. But I gave in and he was very happy I did. So far he has only labeled one thing of mine. On Sunday he got two Cabela's hunting games for the Wii and a Wii rifle. He seemed pretty excited about it and we went downstairs to play his new games. In the one game he had to climb a cliffside and once he reached the top there was a big bear that r
oared at him. We both screamed! His mom and dad invited us out to dinner with them and Kent's grandma and Uncle Dean. He wanted an Obama cake in honor of the election and that is what he got. I think it turned out pretty well but I am not too fond of the border I
put
on it. Oh well.

Yummy Cake!!!
Oh how times change.
I remember back to the day when Kent was upset that his Doritoes bag featured a black basketball star. Now he's backing Obama.
I always thought that it was the 'blackness' that annoyed him, maybe it was the sportiness.
I'm way impressed you made that cake. And, I love that you guys screamed when the bear came. LOL. Happy Kentikah!
