My Proudest Moment

I come from a long line of cheapskates. My family used to joke that my dad was so cheap that we bought two-ply toilet paper and rolled the top layer onto another roll to extend the life of a roll. Whenever I walk into the store I head straight to the clearance rack. I can not remember a time when I actually paid full price for clothing. Even my wedding dress was from an insurance loss sale and I got it for 60% off! A lot of people like to brag about how much something costs but I am the complete opposite. I love to brag about how little I paid for things and I can always remember the exact cost.

So last weekend I was out at Ron and Mary Jean's house and she was showing me some new pictures that she had bought at Michael's. Then she said "guess how much I paid? $10! And when I got them I thought, Aimee would be so proud!"

And I was!
