I've been getting my feet zoned recently and I went this past week on Tuesday. Each time I go she lectures me endlessly about how much soda I drink. Just the day before I had had a 32 oz and two 44 oz drinks. She told me I needed to quit completely. "Cold turkey?!" I said, "cold turkey" she said. I tried everything to get out of it. I kept saying I would try and she kept saying no, you will stop. She gave in a little and said I could have one can a week. To which I said, "ok one a day", she didn't buy it. Finally she made me look her in the eyes and promise to stop. Very reluctantly I did promise her.
Amazingly, I have lived. The first day I had a killer headache but the next day I was fine and I've been fine ever since. I chose yesterday to have my one soda for the week. I cracked the cold can open, held it up to my lips, and drew a long, tastey, swallow. I looked at that can and said "hello my dark fizzy lover". It was awesome. But here's the truly amazing part... I got half way through with the can and I was done! I was satisfied and I figure I can drink another half sometime later in the week. Soon I think Coca Cola will be calling to find out what has happened to one of their best customers.

Rock on sister!! I love having my feet zoned. It feels soooo good (mostly), heh. Brett drinks about a bottle a week, but he buys his Coca Cola at Walmart or here at Island Market as it's the kind imported from Mexico--NO HFCS (high fructose corn syrup). It has REAL sugar. So he gets full on it faster and doesn't "crave" it. It's just a fun sugar treat. Try that next week and tell me what you think! :)

Ok now it's time for me to quit the Mountain Dew...I just dont think I can bring myself to do it! The caffeine "withdrawal" headaches are HORRIBLE!!
I am laughing my head off right now. My side hurts and my eyes are teary...seriously. I was so upset today. I spilled my entire 44 oz fountain diet pepsi in the mini van today. I was already having a horrible day so I teared up a little. I had only gotten a sip. I didn't want to drag all the kids back into Maverick so I had to go without. It is so hard, but I am trying to cut it out as well. You made my day!! Loved the entry.
