The Joys of Home Ownership

We have this home warranty thing and it was supposed to cover our appliances for the first year after we bought the house. Well the fridge has always had this problem with the temperature controls which are part of the drink/ice dispenser in the door. When you try to turn the temperature up or down it flashes. It also does that when you get a drink. So although the fridge works it has this little annoying thing which should be covered by the warranty. So I hurried and called the warranty people to get it fixed before the warranty ran out. A guy came and looked at it and said it would cost a pretty good amount to fix. A girl from their office (who's name I know and should publish on the internet!) asked us if we wanted to have it fixed or if we just wanted a check to go towards buying a new fridge. Well we picked the check because really the fridge works it just flashes when you use the drink dispenser. She told me the check would take about 2 weeks to get here. It has now been over 3 and I keep calling them and no one will call me back. I’m getting really ticked. So seriously if I don’t have a check in my hand by Monday I am calling Get Gephart. I'll be famous, they'll come to my house, we'll get this sad action shot of me trying to turn the temperature up and it going completely wacky. Bill will try to call up their office and continually get their voicemail. Then he'll start knocking on doors, getting in faces.... and before you know it I'll have my check!

Also if anyone has an children they need to punish I could really use some help painting the 10,000,000 rungs on my deck railing. For some reason I thought painting the railing would take no time at all. Boy was I wrong.
