So, you remember my last post where I gave the little statistic about women getting 7 hours more housework and men losing 4? Well here is an example of why. Sunday is our usual laundry day and our laundry room isn't really that big so we usually sort the laundry on our bedroom floor, put them into baskets, and then I move the baskets into the other bedroom to get them out of the way. Well this Sunday I decided to just sort my laundry in the other room. When it came time for Kent to sort his he couldn't figure out where I had sorted mine. I told him that I had sorted it in the other room. He then informed me that he had already started to sort laundry in our room. Apparently if his laundry is not in his hamper (or skattered around on the floor somewhere close to the hamper, what I call worshiping at the altar of the laundry gods), it is therefore sorted. So the one pair of jeans that was sitting on the far side of the room was the beginning of the laundry sorting and somehow I had failed to notice that. Silly me. So he proceeded to sort his laundry on the bedroom floor and it was up to me to get them into the other room into the baskets.
I do have to give him props though. The bathroom fan went out and he fixed it all by himself. Very impressive.
